When you volunteer at the Alameda Boys & Girls Club, you make a difference in the lives of our youth members while giving back to our community as a whole. Within the first few minutes of walking into a Club, you know you’re in a special place. Whether you help with homework, coach a game or teach an art project, you’ll have the opportunity to build healthy relationships with young people eager for adult mentorship, and have a positive impact on their futures. In turn, you will find that spending time with these young people has a positive impact on you as well.

How you can make a difference:

Host an employee volunteer activity with our youth* or at our facility (i.e. in our garden)
Or let your imagination go wild! We are always glad to hear new and creative ideas for supporting youth.
*Please note: All volunteers must be over the age of 18 and out of high school. All volunteers working directly with our youth must complete and pass a Live Scan background check prior to volunteering. Please review our Club Safety Policies found here.

There are no volunteer opportunities at the Alameda Boys & Girls Club this time.
