In our Learning Center, we run a variety of academic programs, such as Power Hour, Homework Help, Project Learn, Math and Literacy Tutoring, Money Matters, STEM Mentoring, LEGO Robotics Club, and more. Our goal in the Learning Center is to provide an environment that promotes skill-building, confidence, and an enjoyable experience for learning.

Our core educational program that provides Club professionals with the strategies, activities, resources and information to create an every day engaging homework help and tutoring program that encourages all Club members of every age to become self-directed learners.

STEM Mentoring


This year round program encourages members to reduce high-risk behaviors, improve academic success indicators, and increase their knowledge of and interest in STEM topics and careers through fun, hands-on activities, group projects and multimedia connections that engage 12 community mentors and their mentees in a variety of STEM topics.

Torch Club


Torch Clubs are small-group leadership and service clubs for boys and girls in grades 6-8. These chartered clubs help Boys & Girls Club staff address the unique character development needs of younger adolescents during a critical stage in their lives, fostering leadership and service at an important developmental period.
